Driver climbs onto roof of car after crashing into Shelby County creek

SHELBY COUNTY — A driver was on the roof of a car after it crashed into a creek on state Route 29 near McCartyville Road in Shelby County.

An Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper spotted the car just before 6 p.m. in the creek.

The driver was able to get off the car and out of the creek without assistance, according to initial reports.
