A 12-year-old boy was found dead after a fire broke out at a Bradford home late Monday night, according to investigators.

The fire was reported around 11 p.m. Monday at the home in the 400 block of North Miami Avenue in Bradford, deputies said.

The child, who was not identified, was not able to evacuate the house and was later found dead, investigators told News Center 7.

Seven other family members were in the house when the fire broke out. Two of those people, a man and a pregnant woman, had to jump from the roof of the house to safety, according to firefighters.
