Update@3:15 a.m.:

All lanes on I-75 have been shut down as crews continue to work to clear the accident scene.

When the truck struck the median wall, it damaged some electrical wiring, and Dayton Power & Light has been called to the scene, said Capt. Chris Kinzeler of the Dayton Police Department.

It’s not clear what the wiring is for or if it’s caused power outages, he said.

First report:

The two left lanes on Interstate 75 south at Stanley Avenue in Dayton were shut down early Wednesday morning because of an accident involving a box truck that flipped.

Initial reports are that the driver lost control of the vehicle, which struck a wall and flipped. The driver was trapped, but was later extracted without injuries, according to scanner traffic.

We have a reporter on the scene, and we will bring you the latest information when it’s available.
