Trotwood City Council rejects medical marijuana business

Trotwood City Council on Monday night rejected medical marijuana.

Council rejected three resolutions connected to the issue -- on whether to allow a dispensary, whether to allow cultivation and whether to allow processing.

Until tonight, council had postponed several final votes on the issue after deciding in March to extend the city's moratorium on medical marijuana for six months

At the time, Mayor Mary McDonald said the community needed an opportunity to have input on the issues.
