Tools stolen from Dayton quicklime manufacturer, police say

Nearly $2,800 worth of equipment was reportedly stolen from a quicklime manufacturer in Dayton Sunday evening, police say.

Dayton police were dispatched to Mid-Ohio Valley Lime at 1727 Farr Drive around 6:30 p.m. on a report of an overnight burglary, according to a Dayton police report.

Numerous tools were stolen including a full set of wrenches, five air grinders, a concrete saw and a chainsaw, read the report. The tools were valued at a total of $2,746, police say.

Police did not provide any further information.
