Power restored to most in Greene County after weather caused outages this evening

MIAMI VALLEY — UPDATE @ 6:20 p.m.:

All Greene County DP&L customers have had their power restored except for 29 locations.

Weather and high winds caused many power lines to come down this evening in Greene County communities around Xenia and Beavercreek causing thousands of outages at one point.

A few outages still remain in Montgomery and Miami Counties, but power has been restored to most residencies.

We will continue to monitor outages across the region as weather floats in and out of the Miami Valley tonight.

FIRST REPORT:
