Overnight: Widespread showers are expected to move through overnight, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said. A few rumbles of thunder are possible, but no severe weather is expected. Isolated downpours and gusty winds may create problems for drivers, especially toward Friday morning. Temperatures will be falling into the 50s by morning.

Friday: Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms are likely during the morning commute. Some ponding on roads and reduced visibility at times may make driving a little difficult. An area of low pressure will move to the east and keep the chance of intermittent showers around through the day. It will be much cooler, with winds out of the north. Temperatures will be falling through the day, starting in the 50s and into the 40s into the evening.

Saturday: Scattered showers; chilly and breezy conditions expected. Temperatures should stay high enough for a cold rain, but a slight dip could mean a few wet flakes across the far northwest. Highs around 50 degrees are expected. Drier weather returns into the evening as the system slowly exits to the northeast.

Easter: Clouds break for some sunshine for the holiday, which starts cool in the upper 30s before temperatures rebound into the upper 60s.

Monday: Some dry time is expected during the day with high temperatures back into the low 70s. Some showers or a few storms, mainly north, are possible late day into the evening.

Tuesday: It will be mostly cloudy with the chance of a passing shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon and evening. Highs will reach the lower 70s.
