The injured Dayton police officer was treated for a sprained wrist and cuts to an elbow, knee and shin. An officer was also struck in the face during a physical resistance in the police cruiser by the suspect, Mark H. O’Neal.
O’Neal is listed as 19 years old, according to jail and police records, but his father states O’Neal Jr. is age 20.

He was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on suspicion of assault on a police officer, which is a felony, and for misdemeanor charges of public indecency, resisting arrest and obstructing official business, online jail records show. O'Neal is scheduled to appear in court Monday afternoon.
