Suspect in custody after chase through parts of Dayton

DAYTON — A chase ended in the area of state route 49 and Turner Road this afternoon with a person in custody, according to initial emergency dispatch reports.

Officers were in the area around 3:40 p.m.

Initial reports from emergency dispatch indicated the driver was driving erratically in several areas, including on James H. McGee Boulevard, Gettysburg Avenue and other streets.
