Surgical mask wearing men wanted for Union CVS robbery

UNION, Montgomery County — Two men who were wearing surgical masks are wanted after they attempted to rob the CVS Pharmacy on South Main Street in Union Monday night.

Officers responded to the business at 124 S. Main St. around 9 p.m. after the suspects entered and passed a note to a pharmacy worker demanding prescription drugs, according to Union Police.

The first suspect was described as being in his early 20s with a grey zip-up sweatshirt, dark pants, black winter hat, a white latex glove and blue surgical mask, investigators said.

The second suspect, also in his early 20s, was said to have been wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, black winter hat and blue surgical mask, police said.

Police said the men threatened to shoot the worker if they didn’t hand over the drugs, however a gun was not scene.

Both men fled the store before getting the items, police said.
