SPRINGFIELD — Crews responded to a second residential house fire in Springfield early Friday morning.

Springfield Township and the city of Springfield Fire responded to a single-story, residential house fire on the 2100 block of Scioto Drive at around 6:10 a.m., Clark County Regional Dispatch told News Center 7.
Initial reports stated that the house was “fully involved” in fire and had flames visible from the outside, according to information that dispatch received.
No one was reportedly trapped inside the building, dispatch stated.
Medics were called to the scene.

This is the second residential house fire reported in Springfield this Friday morning.
The second house fire was reported an hour and a half after the first one and was located 2.5 miles away.
