DETAILED FORECAST:

TONIGHT: Showers and storms will cross the Miami Valley this evening. A few isolated strong to severe storms are possible with damaging winds and hail the primary threat, according to Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs.

A brief spin-up tornado cannot be ruled out. Aside from the storm chance, it will be very warm and muggy with temperatures dropping back through the 80s. Drying out overnight with the exception of a stray sprinkle or shower. Overnight lows will dip to the middle 60s.

FRIDAY: Mix of sun and clouds, becoming mostly sunny, but not as hot or humid. High temperatures around 80.

SATURDAY: Variably cloudy on Saturday, pleasant with temperatures in the upper 70s and low humidity.

SUNDAY: Partly cloudy and a touch warmer. A Passing shower or storm is possible in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 80s.

MONDAY: Mostly sunny and comfortably warm. Highs in the upper 70s.

TUESDAY: Partly cloudy and warm with temperatures around 80 degrees.

WEDNESDAY: Partly cloudy, slight chance of an isolated passing shower or storm. Most are dry but warmer with temperatures in the lower 80s.
