A semitrailer hauling cement dust crashed and overturned on Ohio 235 in Greene County Monday morning, according to state troopers.

The crash was reported at the intersection of Ohio 235 and Trebein Road around 11:30 a.m.

The semi, traveling north on Ohio 235, went off the right side of the road attempting to avoid a stopped car that was attempting to turn onto Trebein Road, Trooper Mark McNeely of the Xenia Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.

The driver, only identified as a woman, suffered minor injuries in the crash and was receiving treatment at the scene, McNeely said.

Another vehicle traveling on Ohio 235 was damaged by debris and gravel thrown into the road during the crash, but that driver was not injured.

None of the cement dust in the tanker spilled in the crash, McNeely said.

Ohio 235 is expected to be blocked until at least 1 p.m. while a tow truck works to upright the semi and remove it from the scene, according to McNeely.

The driver of the semi will be cited for the crash, according to investigators.

Additional details were not available.
