2 adults, 2 children injured in 3-vehicle rollover accident in Miami Twp.

UPDATE @ 7:45 p.m.: Two adults and two children have been taken to hospitals from the rollover accident in Miami Twp. that involved three vehicles.

According to the preliminary investigation, a male driving a Jeep Liberty SUV was on Lyons Road when he entered the intersection at Byers Road and was hit broadside by a minivan, Miami Twp. police said. That collision caused the Jeep to roll onto a third vehicle, but little damage was done to that third vehicle.

The driver of the Jeep has been taken to Kettering Medical Center. A mother driving the minivan, along with two children in car seats, were taken to hospitals.

The person in the third vehicle was not injured.

None of the injuries is believed to be life threatening, police said.

One lane each on Lyons and Byers roads is open. Traffic is moving through the accident scene very slowly.

At least one person was trapped in the wreckage of a rollover accident early Thursday evening at Lyons and Byers road in Miami Twp.

The accident was reported about 6:15 p.m.
