Road work will affect traffic busy Englewood intersection

ENGLEWOOD — Traffic will be impacted along a busy intersection in Englewood starting on Monday.

There will be lane restrictions along the intersection of Wenger Road and South Main Street (State Route 48) as contractors complete a water utility project, the city’s police department announced Thursday on social media.

It will start at around 9 a.m. Monday morning and is expected to last up to five days.

Local traffic will be maintained but delays are expected, according to the city.

Traffic could be restricted to one lane of travel in most directions and turns could be prohibited at times.
