GREENVILLE TWP. — Multiple volunteer firefighters and the volunteer assistant chief reportedly resigned from the Greenville Twp. Fire Department over the weekend.

Eight volunteers submitted resignations Saturday and more could follow, according to The Early Bird.

He also denied that rumors that the township fire department was disbanding.

Greenville Twp. Emergency Services has more than 20 employees who are firefighter certified, according to The Early Bird. There are also 17 volunteer firefighters.
