DAYTON — Dayton police are investigating a breaking and entering at an area convenience store where a suspect attempted to steal an ATM, according to the report.
Officers were dispatched around 5:12 a.m. Thursday to the Little Richmond Road Quick Stop Mini Market.
Once on the scene, police observed heavy damage to glass and wood at the market’s front entrance and an ATM sticking through the glass with a yellow strap around it, the report stated.
Surveillance provided by an employee reportedly showed a truck back into the Quick Stop multiple times before the suspect placed a yellow strap around the ATM.
When the truck pulled away, the strap broke, according to the report.
There are no suspect descriptions available at this time.
