UPDATE: 1 stabbed during fight between 2 males in northern Warren County

UPDATE @ 11:20 p.m.: One male was stabbed in a fight with another male, who suffered facial injuries in the fracas, Franklin Police Chief Russ Whitman said in a prepared statement.

Both males have been taken to an area hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries, the chief said.

Police and medic units were dispatched to the 100 block of East Bryant Avenue about 9:45 p.m. on a report of two males injured while fighting.

There was no word on what prompted the fight. The investigation is ongoing, the chief said, and no charges have been filed at this time.

Police are investigating a stabbing reported Tuesday night at a residence on Bryant Avenue in Franklin.

One person has been injured, we're hearing, but there has been no word about the victim's condition.

Police were dispatched just after 10 p.m., we’re hearing.
