Pickup truck hits jogger crossing Austin Blvd. at intersection just off I-75 South exit ramp

MIAMI TWP., Montgomery County — UPDATE @ 4:39 p.m.: A jogger, who police said had the light, was hit by a pickup truck as she tried to cross Austin Boulevard at the intersection just off the I-75 South exit ramp.

The jogger suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital, a Miamisburg police officer said.

The driver possibly will be cited for inattentive driving, the officer said.

INITIAL REPORT

A report of a pedestrian crash on the ramp from I-75 south to Austin Boulevard has shut down the exit ramp this afternoon.

The crash was reported around 4 p.m.

Medics and police are on the scene, however the severity of any injuries was not immediately known.
