DETAILED FORECAST:

TODAY: Some scattered, leftover showers will continue to move through the area through the midday hours, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Dontae Jones said.

The region will stay damp through the day with mostly cloudy skies, however some breaks in the clouds for some sunshine will be possible.

Highs will be in the upper 60s with some breezy conditions.

THURSDAY: It will be a beautiful day and may be the last opportunity of the year to enjoy an 80-degree afternoon. Clouds will decrease for sunshine.

FRIDAY: The day will start dry. It will be mild and breezy with highs in the middle 70s. A front will bring some scattered showers and storms to the late afternoon and evening.

SATURDAY: We’ll see a cooldown for the weekend. Highs will only reach the mid to upper 50s. Some passing rain showers will redevelop.

SUNDAY: More passing showers especially at night. Highs will be near 60 degrees.
