Cloudy skies, isolated showers today; more rain expected Wednesday ahead of warmup

DETAILED FORECAST:

TODAY: It will be cool with highs in the low 60s. This afternoon will feature cloudy skies with some drizzle, but rain showers have tapered off, said Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Jesse Maag.

WEDNESDAY: Another round of showers arrive during the morning. Rain comes to an end in the afternoon that will allow for some sunshine. Highs will be slightly warmer in the lower 70s. It will be dry at night.

THURSDAY: Sunshine will return. It will be warmer than normal with highs around 80. We’ll see a mix of sun and clouds.

FRIDAY: We’ll see some dry time early. In the afternoon and evening, we’ll see scattered clouds with showers and even a few storms.

SATURDAY: Cooling off with highs in the upper 50s. Cloudy with more showers returning.
