Showers, heavy rain move through the area tonight; Rain chances continue into the weekend

DETAILED FORECAST:

TONIGHT: Scattered showers will push through the region tonight, with rain chances sticking around to start the weekend, according to Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs.

We’ll see some heavy pockets of rain as the showers move through tonight. There will be breezy conditions at night with lows dropping into the middle 50s.

FRIDAY: More rain showers are expected along with cloudy, cool, and breezy conditions. Highs will be in the upper 50s.

SATURDAY: A few showers will linger in the morning as this system exits. We should be getting back to dry weather towards the late afternoon and evening. Highs in the upper 50s.

HALLOWEEN: A nice end to the weekend for the holiday with partly to mostly sunny skies and cool temperatures. We’ll see more sun during the day with highs around 60. Dry for trick-or-treating with temperatures dropping through the 50s, but no moonlight.

MONDAY: A dry start to the week. Highs in the upper 50s. Chance for rain showers at night.

TUESDAY: A slight chance for a few showers, mainly in areas south of Dayton early in the day. Otherwise it will be mostly cloudy but transitioning to partly sunny skies. Highs will be in the lower 50s and breezy.

WEDNESDAY: A cold morning in the mid 30s. More sun with highs only reaching the upper 40s. There will be a chance for a few showers across the southern parts of the area later in the day.

THURSDAY: More clouds than sun during the day. Another chance for showers, mainly in the southern parts of the region again.
