Suspect drives onto VA property after reportedly fleeing from crash in Dayton

DAYTON — Crews are searching for at least one suspect who fled the scene of a reported injury accident at North Gettysburg Avenue and West Third Street.

While police were attempting to locate the vehicle, the suspect drove onto the property of the Dayton VA building, according to dispatchers.

Information on whether or not any property was damaged when the suspect drove onto the premises is not yet available.

The suspect has not been located and it is currently unclear why he or she may have fled the crash.

We are working to learn if there were any injuries reported in the crash.
