Police: Springfield student threatens teacher, to bring gun to school

A student at Lagonda Elementary School has been suspended for two weeks after he allegedly threatened to shoot a teacher, according to a Springfield police report.

A teacher told police the 11-year-old student allegedly lifted his silverware packet during breakfast on Friday, pointed it at the teacher and said: “Boom, (expletive).”

He then allegedly told the teacher he would bring a gun to school. The teacher asked how he would do that, according to the report, and he said he knew a person with a gun. He also said he knew where the teacher lived and threatened to shoot the teacher’s home, police said.
