Police need your help after shooting in Richmond, Indiana

Police responded Tuesday to a report of a male shot by an unknown person in Richmond, Indiana.

The Richmond Police Department responded around 6:30 p.m. to the Reid Health Hospital for the shooting victim.

A press release from the police department confirmed that Alexander Irwin was shot while he was staying at a residence in the 200 block of North 17th Street.

The residence was searched for evidence and the investigation continues.

We are working to learn more about the severity of Irwin’s injuries.
