Police: Man pleasured himself in Walmart while watching female employees

BELLEFONTAINE — A 21-year-old man was arrested after police said he appeared to be pleasuring himself while watching female employees at the Bellefontaine Walmart Tuesday night, according to a police report.

Nicky Wright was arrested after officers responded to the store around 7 p.m. He’s booked into the Logan County Jail on charges of voyeurism and public indecency, records show.

A caller told police Wright appeared to be pleasuring himself while walking through the store and was in the women’s clothing section of the store, according to the report.

“The manager notified me that the male was watching/following female employees throughout the store and that it seemed that he was getting aroused by them,” an officer wrote in the report.

Officers spoke with Wright, who told police a medical condition caused him to perform the sex act on himself and he admitted he had a “problem,” the report read.

Police reviewed surveillance video from the store as part of their investigation, according to the report.

Wright was also trespassed from the store.

Police said Wright did not have any prior convictions or charges related to sexual misconduct in his criminal history report.
