Rolled Jeep in Jefferson Twp. caused by deer in road, police say

JEFFERSON TWP. — UPDATE @ 2:51 a.m.:

According to a Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office sergeant on the scene, the rolled Jeep on Lutheran Church Road was caused by a deer running into the road.

The sergeant said that the Jeep swerved to avoid the deer and ended up flipping the vehicle.

In a press release,  the Sheriff’s Office said that although the driver was not found in the SUV, he was quickly found at a family member’s home close to the crash site.

Nobody was injured in the crash.

INITIAL REPORT

Police are investigating after a Jeep was reported rollover into a ditch on Lutheran Church Road near the intersection of Farmersville West Carrollton Road in Jefferson Township.

According to dispatch records, the driver was not in the vehicle.
