Pedestrian, in crosswalk when hit by vehicle in Dayton, taken to hospital

A pedestrian struck by a vehicle in Dayton has been taken to Grandview Medical Center, where he was said to be suffering from non-life threatening injuries.

The pedestrian, a man in his 40s, was in the crosswalk when a driver hit him about 8:19 p.m.

The driver was turning left from Cornell Drive onto Philadelphia Drive, a Dayton police officer said.
