DETAILED FORECAST:

TONIGHT: Our next chance for rain and thunderstorms comes in late tonight through the early morning hours of Monday. While heavy rain, thunder and lightning are certainly possible tonight, the overnight timing should help to limit the severe weather potential.

The overall risk for severe weather has waned as we have gotten closer, but a stray strong storm or two still isn’t impossible. The main threat with any storm that does get stronger would be a spotty damaging wind gust. Overnight low temperatures fall to the middle 50s by Monday morning.

MONDAY: Drying out and clearing out early as we go through Monday. Mostly sunny skies are expected by Monday afternoon, but temperatures only make it back to the lower 70s. It should feel comfortable with lower humidity.

TUESDAY: Mostly sunny and pleasant for Tuesday. Highs near normal in the lower to middle 70s.

WEDNESDAY: Partly sunny with a chance of a few showers or storms. Highs in the lower 70s.

THURSDAY: Partly cloudy with a chance for a few showers or storms. Best chances for now look to come south of I-70. Highs near 80.

FRIDAY: Partly cloudy skies with a stray storm possible. Highs in the middle 80s

SATURDAY: Partly cloudy skies with a chance for showers or storms late in the day. Breezy with highs in the lower 80s.

FRIDAY: Partly cloudy skies with a stray storm possible. Highs in the middle 70s
