MIAMI COUNTY — Power has been restored after a squirrel left 2,081 people without power Sunday morning.
Kelly Matthews, a DP&L spokesperson, said that the squirrel damaged a switch, which de-energized a main line circuit.
DP&L spokesperson Kelly Matthews said that a total of 2,081 people were left without power after a squirrel did damage to a switch near their Northridge station.

Matthews said that the damage caused a main line circuit to de-energize.
The outage was initially reported around 8:35 a.m. and power was restored by 10:45 a.m.
