“The number of workers unemployed in Ohio in October was 324,000, down from 469,000 in September,” the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services reported Friday morning.

The U.S. unemployment rate for October was 6.9 percent, which is down a full percent from September.

Ohio’s rate, while a drop month-over-month, is still two percent above what it was last year at this time.
