I-75 north all clear in Moraine after semi fire

A semi that caught fire this evening caused a major backup on Interstate 75 north.

The cab of the tractor-trailer causght fire at about 6:18 p.m.

According to Moraine police, the driver pulled onto the shoulder of the highway and tried to put it out before Moraine firefighters arrived to extinguish it. There were no injuries.

At points, all but the far left lane was blocked, though traffic was still able to get through. At 7:30 p.m., all lanes were back open after a wrecker from Sandy's Towing was able to tow the truck from the scene.
