3 teens hospitalized after two-vehicle crash in Butler Twp.

BUTLER TWP. — UPDATE @ 10:50 p.m.

Three teenagers were taken to a local hospital Thursday night following a two-vehicle crash in Butler Twp.

The teens’ injuries are not considered life-threatening, Butler Twp. fire officials said.

The injured teens were among four people riding in a dark vehicle that landed in a yard in the 7900 block of Peters Pike following the crash. Two other people were riding in a white car that sustained heavy front-end damage.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

FIRST REPORT

Multiple injuries were reported tonight in a two-vehicle crash.

One vehicle landed in a yard following the crash reported shortly before 7 p.m. in the 7900 block of Peters Pike in Butler Twp. near Vandalia.

At least three medics were requested to the scene, and there were reports both vehicles sustained heavy damage.

Peters Pike is shut down in the area of the crash.
