DETAILED FORECAST

Overnight: It will be quiet, warm and muggy under partly cloudy skies with temperatures around 70 degrees, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Dontae Jones said.

Friday: Another warm and humid morning is expected to start Friday the 13th. It will become breezy for the afternoon through still hot with highs on either side of 90 degrees and a Heat Index in the middle 90s.

>> Heat Index: What is it? Why does it matter?

A cold front will swing in and bring a broken line of showers and storms, which likely would affect some football games with passing rain showers and possibly lightning. It will dry out late into the night and humidity also will begin to drop.

Saturday: A cool start to the morning is expected with with temperatures near 60 degrees. Significantly lower humidity and plenty of sunshine with highs in the low 80s will make for a perfect day.

The heat and humidity could fuel storms over the next couple of days before a brief wave of cool, dry air invades.

Monday: Temperatures will stay high, in the middle to upper 80s, and humidity will creep back up as well, making it feel like it is in the lower 90s. There is a chance of a passing shower or storm.

Tuesday: It will be partly to mostly sunny, warm and muggy with temperatures in the middle to upper 80s and a Heat Index in the lower 90s for some.
