XENIA — A motorcyclist was taken to Miami Valley Hospital after being involved in a crash in Xenia Monday afternoon.
The crash happened in the area of Home Avenue and Detroit Street around 1:30 p.m.
A crash reconstruction team was called to the crash site due to the seriousness of the crash.
The motorcyclist was involved in a crash with a pickup truck at the intersection. The people in the pickup truck were not hurt, investigators said.
Details of how the crash happened were not immediately known.
Law enforcement closed down the intersection while they investigated the crash.
