A four-year-old and his mother were treated at the scene of an injury accident Sunday afternoon on state Route 121 and Horatio-New Harrison Road, according to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
Darke County deputies along with Gettysburg Fire and Rescue responded to the accident around 3:51 p.m.

A 2015 Jeep Cherokee, driven by Ashley Williams, 33, of Eaton, was east on SR 121 and came to a stop at the intersection of Horatio-New Harrison Road before she pulled out in front of a 1985 Chevy pickup truck, driven by Scott Herron, 50, of Piqua, who was traveling south on SR 121, causing the collision.
Williams and her four-year-old son were treated and release at the scene, and Herron was uninjured.
Williams was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way.
