DAYTON — The mother of Taelor Taylor's year-old daughter believes security cameras mounted on Taylor's North Trenton Street home caught a killer and she is confident everybody involved in the slaying will be apprehended.
"Whoever ya'll are, turn ya'll self in, 'cause at the end of the day ya'll gonna get caught," Tonetta Hurston told News Center 7's Mike Campbell on Monday. ".... He did not deserve that. He would have gave ya'll whatever ya'll wanted.
"Turn yourself in. Whoever you are. Turn yourself in. Please."
Hurston, their daughter, other family members and friends gathered at the North Trenton Street residence on Monday evening to launch balloons in rememberance of Taelor Taylor, found shot to death on the porch the night of Nov. 28.
Dayton police have arrested one man, who was in court Monday on charges in the homicide. Police have said they are continuing to look for two other men involved in the homicide and a third who drove the getaway car.

"Taelor solved his own crime," Hurston said, admitting she regrets having to watch the security video that shows one of the men wearing a ski mask and least one other carrying what appeared to be a long gun. She said she watched the video to see if could recognize any of the attackers.
"You were man enough to do it," she said in sending the attackers a message. "Be man enough to turn yourself in and face what you did."
Hurston said the phone call she received about Taylor's demise was one she wishes she never got.
But, she warned, "whoever you are in the ski mask, you knew he had cameras. And you know we would know who you are. That's why you covered up your face, you coward."
