Montgomery County health officials working to prepare for coronavirus outbreak in U.S.

Officials with Public Health -- Dayton & Montgomery County said they are preparing a plan to deal with coronavirus if there is an outbreak, which includes communication with travelers who have recently traveled to China.

"We contact the people who traveled. We have them isolate themselves and have them monitor themselves, if there are any symptoms and should they develop symptoms, we help them seek care," Dan Suffoletto, Public Health - Dayton & Montgomery County, told News Center 7's Monica Castro on Wednesday night.

Shortages related to coronavirus could be wide ranging, from soda containing an artificial sweetner to all kinds of items made in China. Amazon officials expressed concern recently about running out of stock because so many items sold on the site are made in China.
