Miss Montgomery County crowned 2014 Miss Ohio

Miss Montgomery County was crowned 2014 Miss Ohio on Saturday at the Renaissance Theatre in Mansfield.

Mackenzie Bart, 22, of Columbus, is a senior at Ohio State University who said she hopes to become a meteorologist.

Bart's platform is "Universal Newborn Screening: Saving Babies' Lives, One Heel Prick at a Time."

Her talent? She's a ventriloquist. She sang "Supercalifragilsticexpialidocious" from "Mary Poppins" with her puppet Roxy.

Crown in hand, Bart will next travel to the Miss America program to compete with other contestants for the title of Miss America.
