Miami County Sheriff’s Office holds ‘Operation Coverup’ to bring coats to those in need

TROY — Today the Miami County Sheriff’s Office will be distributing coats for children and adults in the community.

The event will be held at the Miami County Fairgrounds Horticulture Building starting at 9:00 a.m. and ending at 11:00 a.m.

According to a press release from the sheriff’s office, they thanked the Sunset Cleaners of Troy for cleaning all off the donated coats. The office also wanted to thank all who donated to the event.

“Without all the donations, this project would not be possible,” the sheriff’s office wrote.
