A total of 1,100 hours will be spent on extra traffic enforcement throughout the upcoming year, including 40 overtime hours during school homecoming events and 32 hours during the Halloween holiday.

Most of the extra enforcement will be assigned during holidays with a goal to reduce the number of fatal and injury crashes and to remove impaired drivers.
