Miami County detectives ask for help locating suspected drug dealer

Miami County Sheriff’s detectives were assisted by the U.S. Marshal’s Service in attempting to locate and arrest a suspected drug dealer from Piqua who has warrants for felony trafficking narcotics.

After being issued a search warrant, detectives searched the home of Cecil L. Archie, age 34, on the the 800 block of Nicklin Avenue. Archie was not at home at the time of the search.

According to a release from the Miami County Sheriff’s Office, detectives seized items including cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and U.S. currency.

The release stated that additional charges against Archie will be forthcoming after consultation with the Miami County Prosecutor’s Office.

Miami County Sheriff and detectives are asking the public for help locating Archie, who they say is still at large.
