MONTGOMERY COUNTY — Two people were taken to the hospital after a crash involving a garbage truck on Interstate 70 early Tuesday morning.

State troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) Dayton post and medics responded around 3:02 a.m. to reports of a crash on I-70 Eastbound near I-75, according to OSHP dispatchers.

ODOT cameras that the crash affected traffic on both EB I-70 and the NB I-75 ramp.
It also showed a garbage truck and a car involved in the crash.
Dispatchers told News Center 7 that medics transported two people to area hospitals.
The crash remains under investigation.
