SPRING VALLEY TWP., Greene County — Two people were injured, including one who was flown from the scene by a medical helicopter after a two-vehicle crash in southern Greene County Monday morning, according to investigators.

The crash was reported at the intersection of state Route 380 and West Spring Valley Paintersville Road just before 10 a.m.

A preliminary investigation found a red car ran a stop sign at the intersection and crashed into an SUV head-on, investigators told News Center 7.

The driver of the car, only identified as a man in his 20s, was flown to Miami Valley Hospital by CareFlight medical helicopter. The driver of the SUV was taken by ground ambulance to another area hospital.

The conditions of the crash victims were not released.

Potential factors in the crash were not released, however investigators said alcohol or drugs were not suspected.
