MOOREFIELD TWP., Clark County — Three people were taken to area hospitals, including one by medical helicopter, after a two-vehicle crash on state Route 4 in Clark County Thursday morning.

The crash was reported at the intersection of state Route 4 and Moorefield Road around 9 a.m.
Firefighters said one person was flown to an area hospital with serious injuries, but their condition was not immediately known.

Two others were transported by ground ambulances and their conditions were also unknown.
The crash shut down state Route 4 into the late morning but all lanes were reopened before 11:30 a.m.
State troopers are investigating the crash and additional details were not released.
