Troy head-on collision leaves 1 driver in critical condition

TROY — UPDATE @ 5:22 p.m. (Aug. 13): The driver of a pickup truck flown to a hospital after a head-on collision with a dump truck this week is in critical condition at Miami Valley Hospital.

Patrick Myers, 34, was driving the pickup truck Troy police said went left of center Wednesday afternoon near South Market and West Market streets.

The crash trapped Myers. Fire crews rescued him and transported them to an area hospital by a CareFlight.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

The incident remains under investigation by Troy police.
