Man taken to hospital after reports of person being hit by vehicle in Trotwood

TROTWOOD — One man has been taken to the hospital after police were called to a pedestrian strike in Trotwood late Wednesday night.

Trotwood police responded to a call about a vehicle hitting a woman in a wheelchair near the cross of South Meadow Drive and Salem Avene around 11:30 p.m., according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.

Dispatch told us medics transported one man to Kettering Health Dayton, formerly Grandview Medical Center.

Further information, including the condition of the woman in a wheelchair, is still unknown at this time.
