Family: Man in vehicle at Grandview Medical Center may have had heart attack

Man found dead in vehicle outside Grandview Medical Center

UPDATE @ 10:20 p.m.: Family members said they believe the man found dead in a vehicle in the Grandview Medical Center parking lot possibly suffered a heart attack.

“He had heart issues,” said Barbara Hess, who identified herself as the man’s daughter.

An official with the hospital has not responded to our request for information.

A Montgomery County coroner’s investigator was not available for comment.

INITIAL REPORT

A man whose family reported him missing Friday morning was found dead Friday evening in a vehicle found outside Grandview Medical Center.

The discovery in the parking lot of the hospital, 405 W. Grand Ave., was reported about 7:47 p.m., according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.

The man had been reported missing Friday morning and the preliminary indication is that there is nothing suspicious about the death.

A woman who identified herself as the man’s daughter said he had been missing since the morning. She also said her father suffered from “heart issues.”

She said the family called Dayton police and the hospital report the man as missing.
