DETAILED FORECAST:

TODAY: Some light rain will continue through the midday before more rain returns later in the day, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Kirstie Zontini said.

Through the day skies will be mostly cloudy and it will be cool, with highs only reaching the lower 50s.

By the late afternoon and evening more showers return and will move through the region.

TUESDAY: Another cloudy and cool day with highs again only reaching the lower 50s. Passing showers continue at times but come to an end in the evening. It will be dry, but cold by night.

WEDNESDAY: A chilly start to the day with temperatures in the upper 30s in the morning. Highs will reach around 60 degrees in the afternoon. Partly cloudy skies during the day with some more showers returning at night.

THURSDAY: Another day with widespread rain and cooler temperatures. Highs will be in the upper 50s with breezy conditions. Rain will be heavy at times.

FRIDAY: Dry time returns into the day. Highs in the low 50s. Windy at times. Dry with clouds decreasing.
