Multiple shooting incidents reported in Montgomery County, at least 1 injured

DAYTON — At least one shooting victim has been hospitalized after several reports of shots fired in parts of Dayton and Harrison Twp. early Tuesday morning, according to reports.

One shooting victim was found around 3:30 a.m. in the 1000 block of Danner Avenue and was transported to Miami Valley Hospital, a Dayton police incident report states.

The victim, a 27-year-old man, remains at the hospital but his condition was not available, according to a hospital representative.

Shortly after the report on Danner Avenue, officers and deputies also received reports of up to three people who arrived at Miami Valley Hospital all suffering from gunshot wounds, according to emergency scanner traffic.

Initial reports indicated the incident might have occurred on Hoover Avenue in Harrison Twp., but additional details, including if a scene was located, was not known.

A car was found in a parking lot near Miami Valley Hospital around 8 a.m. with several bullet holes and shot-out windows. It was not known if this vehicle was involved in any of the reported shootings or other incidents.

These shooting incidents were reported about 30 minutes after deputies responded to reports of shots fired, but no victims found, in the area of Turner and Wolf roads in Harrison Twp. 

It remains unclear if any of the reports are connected.
